Configurable Settings
Setting Name | Details |
Renewal Days | The number of days before certificate expiration that AutoInstall SSL will install a new certificate. Recommended setting is 28 days. |
Reissue Days | For multi-year SSL certificate orders, the number of days before certificate expiration that AutoInstall SSL will install a new certificate. Recommended setting is 28 days. |
Auto Reissue Days | When this option is enabled, AutoInstall SSL will proactively reissue and install your certificate every X days (even if it’s not nearing expiration). Allowed values: 0 (disabled), 30, 60, 90, 120. Recommended setting is 0, which disables this feature. |
Auto Update | This specifies whether the AutoInstall SSL agent should automatically check for and install updates to the agent software. Recommended setting is “Yes” to ensure your agent stays up-to-date and compliant with changing SSL/TLS industry standards. Disabling auto-updates increases the risk of a certificate expiration (in cases where SSL/TLS industry standards introduce breaking changes, an outdated agent would not be able to renew/update an expiring certificate). |
